Manual Action Fixing

When the action cannot be executed, the app will put the two screenshots side by side. You can fix the action by manually navigating and recreating your step during the recording for further continuation of the test.

For instance, in this case, the action that could not be executed was clicking on the tab to input the words. We are manually clicking on the given right screenshot to recreate the step, thus, the reference running will continue to run with the manually given action.

Automatic maintenance

When you choose automatic maintenance, the total amount of actions that could not be recreated will be shown at the end of the test.
You can skip the actions that could not be recreated to continue the test run.

Optional vs. Additional Skipping

When the action cannot be executed, you can also skip the action and continue to run the test.

Additionally, you can check the boxes of optional or additional skipping of the action.
Optional - the step is not essential for the test recording and thus, can be skipped.
Additonal -  Create an additional step to execute the action.
